JAKARTA – As a company that processes natural gas into liquefied natural gas (LNG), Badak LNG, which is part of the Pertamina Upstream Subholding, carries out various innovative Human Capital (HC) programs. One of them is by carrying out digital transformation by presenting Human Capital Suites (HCS), an integrated system that manages various aspects of HR management from recruitment to performance management. Apart from that, Badak LNG creates learning media for its workers to increase their knowledge and competence, known as BeLLe (Badak LNG e-Learning).
The company also implements succession management and clear career paths to help employees plan their careers better. In terms of employee development, Badak LNG has a strategy to increase employee satisfaction and retention by providing compensation, recognition and rewards. In fact, based on a worker survey, as many as 86.1% said they were satisfied with the work life balance system in the Badak LNG environment.
Badak LNG’s success in implementing the programs above led the company to receive seven prestigious awards at the 2024 Human Capital on Resilience Excellence Award (HCREA). These awards include The Best Emerging HR Strategy, The Best in HC Change Management & Communication Strategy, The Best Human Capital Team of The Year, The Best in Business Transformation, The Most Resilience Company 2024, The Best CEO Commited HC of The Year 2024 for Badak LNG President Director & CEO Achmad Khoiruddin, and The Best Leadership in Human Capital Development for Director & COO Badak LNG Teten Hadi Rustendi.
These awards were handed over on Thursday (1/8/2024) at the Hotel Sentral Cawang, Jakarta and received directly by Badak LNG Corporate Secretary Henny Trisnadewi. “This is our third participation and this award is encouraging. The seven awards obtained are the result of the hard work of the entire Human Capital team and all Badak LNG workers,” said Henny.
She emphasized that this award reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening and improving the effectiveness of HR management programs. “Through various strategic initiatives, Badak LNG continues to strive to develop sustainable Human Capital strategies to form adaptive and globally competitive human resources,” said Henny.(RI)
